Donnie Stull

Mr. Donald “Donnie” R. Stull, Jr., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Kline Hospice House.   He was the  beloved husband of Renee Caldwell Stull for 19 years. 

Born March 13, 1962 in Frederick, MD., he was the son of Jeany L. Cooke Stull of Florence, SC and Donald R. Stull, Sr. and wife  Lena of Lewistown.

Mr. Stull was employed at Custom Electronics, Inc. as a General Manager for 21 years.   He was a member of Lewistown United Methodist Church.  Donnie was a member of the Lewistown Volunteer Fire Department for 33 years where he was chief for 15 consecutive years also served on the Board of Directors.  He was inducted in to the Frederick County Volunteer Fireman’s Association in the year of 2009.  He helped coach his children’s baseball, softball and basketball teams.  He was a member of the pit crew for the  Governor Thomas Johnson H.S. Marching Band.  He enjoyed tractor pulling with his uncle Paul, camping, vacations with his family, day trips and his dogs Dante and Star.

In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by his daughter Carly Stull and step-son Ryan Burda both of Frederick, his brothers Mark Stull of Wash., DC, , Rodney Stull of Frederick, his step-sister Tammy Getzandanner and husband Gary and step-brother Donald Eyler, Jr., his mother-in-law Audrey Caldwell and brother-in-law Bill Caldwell both of Portage, PA.   Many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick  on Saturday, April 2, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 p.m., where service will be held Sunday, April 3, at 2:00 pm with Pastor Elza Hurst officiating.

Interment Resthaven Memorial Gardens

A reception will follow at the Lewistown Fire House.
